An expert in utilizing systems and strategies, Ayla thrives when working with individuals and organizations to maximize their success. She began her speaking career in 2014, speaking to university students about the power of the brain and the impact of limiting beliefs; and now speaks about the science of thriving at work full time. Her experience includes helping organizations increase their outreach and impact, facilitating strengths and happiness workshops, and instituting systems to increase purpose and productivity. At Happy Brain Science, she applies positive psychology, neuroscience, and her certifications as an educator to guide audiences through a process of in-depth learning and application.
Stewart is a product designer, speaker and coach. Since joining Toastmasters as a charter member of Dolby Speakers in 2012, he has represented his Club, Area and Division in Toastmasters competitions, qualifying for District finals in 2013 Humorous Speech and 2015 International Speech contests. Stewart has run several workshops on brainstorming, ideation and creative problem solving, and loves helping people see the possibilities within themselves. He currently serves as Area C3 Director.
Michael is a speaker, coach, and consultant who gives people the skills and confidence they need to solve stressful situations. His presentations empower people to discover their greater potential in every communication and relationship. As a specialist in human dynamics, Michael's unique insights give people an extraordinary advantage in their personal and professional lives to lead, motivate, and inspire.
Richard is a veteran sales and fundraising professional with 25 years' experience in the art of persuasion. As a high-tech sales engineer, he led presentations generating over $75 million in revenue. As a non-profit executive, he led or played a major role in persuading individuals and foundations to donate $25 million to his organizations. Richard is also a seasoned communications trainer, having worked with executives from McKinsey, Lufthansa, Citigroup and Coca-Cola, as well as New York State Senator Tom Duane and San Francisco International Airport General Manager John Martin. Today Richard is principal of the presentation skills training and speech coaching consultancy The Confident Speaker. He is an alumnus of Columbia University and holds a degree in Theater and Speech from William and Mary.and trainer.
Like many of us, Ken joined Toastmasters to improve his public speaking skills. The skills he developed proved invaluable to his career as a technical training manager. They even landed Ken the lead in a national commercial during the dot com boom. What Ken hadn't anticipated when he joined was the added benefit of leadership development. The leadership opportunities he experienced through Toastmasters have been life changing at both a personal and professional level. These opportunities included serving as District 4 Governor and International Director. Ken currently supports District 4 as its Pathways Chief Ambassador.

Follow up session to keynote. The goal of the follow up session is to provide in-depth learning and application opportunities. Attendees will write out a best possible future, experience the downsides of multitasking, go on learning "walks and talks" with each other, and much more as they dive into how to apply brain science and positive psychology to do better work and enjoy going that work more.
